This is an easy way to lower your stress by adding a new habit to your daily routine.
Use your daily coffee or tea habit as a daily opportunity to practice gratitude. Take a sip and notice the taste as you swallow. Think about how grateful you are for the warmth of the cup in your hand and how much you enjoy the aroma as you take a deep breath. Then think about two more aspects of your life that you are thankful for as you start your day.
