The Spices of Life

 

Today is about being thankful for all the spices that enhance the flavor of food and bring loads of health benefits as well.

Here's a highlight list:

  • Cinnamon to lower blood sugar
  • Turmeric to decrease inflammation
  • Ginger to relieve nausea
  • Garlic to boost heart health
  • Cayenne to ease pain


PRO TIP:  When you grill or fry your food with spices, it decreases the antioxidants. However, microwave cooking, simmering or stewing foods with spices actually heightens the antioxidant levels of spices.

 

 

HOW IT WORKS

Tomorrow I’ll be sending you another email to help you create new healthy habits to move more, calm and focus your mind, stay hydrated, nourish your body and connect with others.
