#60: The Problem With All or Nothing Thinking

In this episode, Amy discusses how diets, fitness challenges and many weight loss programs we sign up for trigger ALL or NOTHING thinking, which is a form of artificial scarcity.  This is yet another reason why these programs have such a high failure rate.

Instead of pursuing dramatic, short-term results, Amy reviews why it's so important to focus on the long game and see our choices on a continuum so life doesn’t get in the way, and change is sustainable and becomes the way you live.  We do this by:

  1. Focusing on building habits
  2. Listening to our body
  3. Managing our mind
